Clarks Hill Lake sports more camping options than most U.S. lakes. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers operates 13 campgrounds and 11 with onsite staff. Both Georgia and South Carolina each manage four state parks, and the Corp leases property to private campground owners. These campgrounds offer either tent camping, primitive camping, RV camping, and cabins and cottages, and some of them offer all four types of camping.
